Hey you fella's with the ford 2004's. If your not getting vacuum your high mileage engines might be plugged at the pvc. Make sure you put on a new pvc and install a pvc enhancer. Old engines need help. Check the vacuum with gauge. The only time H.H.O. gets into the throttle is by increased RPM's. Other wise is will not draw, like in town or idling.
I am not really a Ford man but I am doing a 2000 next week. It might also help if you take off the valve covers and clean them. You might also want to get some engine flush and flush the engine out, then change the oil, pvc etc. Start fresh.

I don't know where you are located but unless you are in a cold climate area I would think hard about a fuel heater. If it's a real necessity I wouldn't bother because leaks are dangerous.

Hello Rosewell! I am doing a 2000 sometime in the next week as soon as the parts come in. I will be glad to take pictures and e-mail them to you. I think I will be changing the air intake around while I'm at it. If those engines don't get air they don't get anything. A good air intake is worth as much as H.H.O..
This will be my first 2000 Ford and it's my Pastors so Its gotta be good, know what I mean?? I really don't think it will need and efie but won't know till then.

Will let you know.

I dont need a efie on my 93 Ranger. however i have read that u start at 400 mv and work your way down
The resistor, cut the black ground wire about 2 inch from the MAF then solder the resistor in place. u can go up to 30 ohm if nessasary. Also go ahead and wrap the o2 sensors with tin foil. makes them think the ambient air is hot
Cant do pictures yet working on it. cars i can do computers are a problem still

Where can I connect into the O2 sensor wire? I want to connect an EFIE to the signal wire for both sensors inside the cabin, but not sure which wire and location. Any ideas? I own a 98 F150, but imagine that some of the models are similar. I know where the PCM is located, but don't know which wire is which.
