I did the first test on my Chevy truck. I always keep up w/ my mpg since I use my truck for towing my lawn equipment. I normally get about 13.7 mpgwhen using the truck to tow a lawn trailer w/ mowers and equip. total weight about 3600 lbs. I installed the charged water system and got 26 mpg w/o the trailer. The truck ran smoother and had more power. This was proved as I could easily keep the transmission in overdrive where before, it would constantly downshift when under a load (pulling trailer) and now does not and rpm's stayed below 2000 at 55 mph. This wasexciting for me. Then the computer took over and started pumping in more gasoline and mpg went down to normal. I have built a DMSE and am waiting for a EFIE to get here. I also have bought the O2 extender, but not installed it yet.
2 questions--
1. Is there a rough guide as to how much H.H.O. you need to maximize mpg for a V8, 4 cylinder or whatever?? This may be in here somewhere, but I missed it.
2. Has anyone had experience with using the O2 extender with a EFIE or do you just need to experiment with using one or the other or both??
Thanks--

| My mileage went up 38% and then yes the computer took over and dropped the mileage down to 22.5 mpg again. What a pain. Moving on, from what I've read I believe it is better to use one or the other when it comes to the Oxyisolator extender or the efie. I am about where you are now and putting on the oxyextenders tomorrow. If I have problems with that then I'll try the efie. you could try them together but they both do the same job. One passively and one electronically.

Thanks- Please let me know what works for you. I put the O2 extenders on Sat. and cleared my system hose lines. When I added water to my electrolyzer, I noticed that I could not get it to bubble. Turns out the line to PCV hose was clogged by a white crystal (possibly baking soda residue) so I flushed it with water and drilled the hole larger and reattached the hoses. Works like new now. Checking to see if the extenders help (also wrapped both O2 sensors with foil) and waiting for EFIE to be delivered. Will try to keep everyone posted.

| Well, it has been a while, but am busy this time of year with business- Lawn business. I have been working on my truck, building new cells and trying to get all the sensors under control. No real results to post at this time, but looking for help on sensors. I installed my MAP sensor enhancer -DMSE made from the plans in the W4G books. It seems to work and I am able to stall engine and get knocking when I lean it too much. I have also installed 2 O2 extenders per pre cat O2 sensor and wrapped them in foil. NOTHING from that. The ECM seems to be taking over and kicking into open loop and dumping in more fuel. mpg has not gone up, but is worse. I finally got my FIE and installed it. Seems to be working, as the readings are all in line with what instructions say. Am getting Service Eng Soon light now and have kept resetting and turning down offset mv. Got several CEL lights, so keep on going lower on mv offset- down to 128 mv now and today no CEL -so far. Hoping mpg will go up.

ok thanks, I am planning more effective cell or cells run in series. I have to figure out the code that I am getting and figure out if I really need the DMSE along with the EFIE.
