Well, I am flabbergasted, to say the least. My "Red Rattler" developed a clicking sound at idle (maybe timing chain????) so I decided to unhook all of my enhancements and take it to my mechanic to see what was wrong. I had a feeling he would say the ELECTROLYZER was what my problem was, so I didn't want him to blame the H.H.O.....
Before going, I knew I needed some changes, so here is what I did:
First, I used Gunk Engine Flush to flush out the old oil,
Second, I changed my oil and filter to Mobil 1 Synthetic 10W-30 High Mileage Oil and Mobil 1 High Capacity Filter.
Third, I added 1 ounce of XYLENE to each 5 gallons when I filled up.
Fourth, I installed new (Cheap Autolite) Spark Plugs and gapped them to 0.050" instead of the recommended 0.060" that Chevrolet put in their book.
My 1994 Chevrolet Cavalier, 2.2L, 5-speed clocked the next 47 miles on 0.929 gallons of Regular Chevron 87 Octane. (NOTE: I DID NOT UNINSTALL the MAP SENSOR ENHANCER, and used it SPARINGLY on my test to lean out the engine on flat ground.)
That is a 53% improvement over the EPA Highway rating of 33 mpg!
WITHOUT THE ELECTROLYZER !!!!!!!!!
I still have to take my car to the mechanic, and AFTER I get it fixed, I will REINSTALL the ELECTROLYZER and try it again!!
AMAZING!

Those are rather interesting results. I'm curious to know if it holds steady after a couple fill-ups, without the H.H.O.

Networkcp-
It IS holding up. My last run was Highway miles only and we went 47.0 miles on 0.941 gallons= 49.95 MPG!!!!
Without the Electrolyzer!
But, I have reinstalled it now that everything else is working and plan to report again on either + or - improvement.

Just so everyone knows, XYLENE is toxic!
Admin added from Wikipedia:
Health effects
Xylene affects the brain. High levels from exposure for short periods (14 days or less) or long periods (more than 1 year) can cause headaches, lack of muscle coordination, dizziness, confusion, and changes in one's sense of balance. Exposure of people to high levels of xylene for short periods can also cause irritation of the skin, eyes, nose, and throat; difficulty in breathing; problems with the lungs; delayed reaction time; memory difficulties; stomach discomfort; and possibly changes in the liver and kidneys. It can cause unconsciousness and even death at very high levels (see inhalants).
Studies of unborn animals indicate that high concentrations of xylene may cause increased numbers of deaths, and delayed growth and development. In many instances, these same concentrations also cause damage to the mothers. It is not yet known whether xylene harms the unborn fetus if the mother is exposed to low levels of xylene during pregnancy.
Besides occupational exposure, the principal pathway of human contact is via soil contamination from leaking underground storage tanks containing petroleum products. Humans who come into contact with the soil or groundwater may become affected. Use of contaminated groundwater as a water supply could lead to adverse health effects.
Another common form of human exposure to xylene is in the use of certain types of pens, writing and drawing instruments, bingo dabbers and art supplies.
Yes it's toxic as is many of the chemicals used in fuels if not handled and used properly. Please observe safety practices and usage.

| I just went and bought some of this XYLENE at Home Depot. Now I'm wondering if I should even touch it. Cancer runs in my family and I don't want to get it. LOL.

| Mattia, I know that you are concerned about everyone's welfare, but please confine your post to the appropiate thread. Once should be sufficient. Thanks!!

| It's interesting you say that Xylene is toxic. Yet the Water4Gas systems significantly reduces individual carbon footprints. Carbon Monoxide and all the other crap that comes off uncomplete combustion can kill. With the proportions of Xylene going into fuel tanks, I dare say, its impact is alot less than that of the already said. Of course the ideal situation is to run off water completely, this will happen, until then, decreasing atmospheric contamination is our goal and maximising fuel economy. Caustic Soda can also kill, so too can hydrogen in improper hands. Let's be real about this. Here is to a progessive community and the dispersion of this information.

| Hello, Just a word of caution! The books say DO NOT to lean out the engine without an electrolyzer or vaporizer installed. The risk is burned valves, or at worst, a hole in the piston. I have seen this myself and it is bad. In one situation, the lean condition was due to a vehicle problem, not from any experimenting. In another, I was tuning racing bikes and learned a hard lesson.

| In response to the Xylene comments i should be handled with care but Gasoline will have many of the same ill effects. all solvents should be handled with care in addition to caustic NaOH or KOH Wear Gloves! + Mask If need be!
