There is nothing worst then putting all your energies into a post only to lose it when you try to post it. It happens and I wish I could tell you why but our webmaster can only say is 'It's the Internet."
Here are 2 ways to protect yourself from that happening.
1. Before posting a long post, click anywhere in the text of your post, then hold the "Ctrl" and "A" keys at the same time and release. All your text should now be highlighted. Next hold down "Ctrl" and "C" keys at the same time and release. This copies your entire post. Then post our post. If you lose it open a new post and click into the body of the new post and hold down the "Ctrl" and "V" key at the same time and release. This will paste all your text you lost into the new post.
2. Open your word processing program, type your text then copy and paste it into the post.
Because either of theses make the posting quicker, I have yet to get an error message.

OR, highlight the post then copy it. Then post. If you lose it, all you have to do is; go to new post, right click, choose paste, then click in the post area. Bingo, it's done.

It appears that I only lose my post when I use the "quote" then make a long post.

| Alternatively, you may use the Windows editor first for writing down your thoughts and past them later into the forum message window.
