Wish that I knew the answers for you as well. What I can tell you is this --I have a 96 K1500 w/ 5.7L engine that I am working on now.  I have gotten as much as 26 mpg with as simple a setup as the charged water system- up from 13 mpg.  Convinced me that there was something to this. So this is what I have tried- wrapping 02 sensors- no help.  02 extenders- no help. (just CEL).  Hose to pcv and air intake-too much vaccum.  Hose to air intake only before MAF sensor- more power, no more mpg.  SO-  I have gone to 2 cells with them in series and one hose to air intake prior to air filter.  EFIE on 02 sensors (pre-cat only).  Truck is running very smooth now and am still on 1st tank since these mods. I will report once I have used enough fuel to get real mpg.

These are only the results for my truck and I have read other variations have worked for others on other vehicles. Don't know if this helps you or not.  Hope so.

Sorry to be late in answering your question about bubbles.

You have the white milky looking bubbles in the jar and you have the big bubbles from the bubbler. The one from the bubbler should only be maybe one or two bubbles a second. If your bubbles are going nuts your just wasting gas. A lot of bubbles also uses more water. I am speaking about control and waste thats all. You get just about the same results cutting back as you do hammering away.

Did that help?
