Have you people seen this!!

Sunday paper in the Magazine Section (syndicated) in the Savannah News on the back page there was a whole page add "THE SCIENCE OF FUEL IS HERE ECONOMY IS HERE" as seen on tv NBC, ABC, CNN, FOX News Nationwide! it goes on to say its a modification to vehicles a Hydro-Asist Fuel Cell Kit. The add has a lot to say even a "mini-computer that actually teaches the on-board computerr to operate their system".  The link listed is www.picctv.com/usar4

I was also wondering if their "computer teacher" would work with our systems. They claim it is Patented technology and the reason they can offer a money back warranty if it doesn't work. I am negotiating with them to sell the mini-computers seperately to folks like us. If it is possible how many of you would be interested?

I would definately be interested. Though a lot would depend on the cost of the unit.

Obviously, we wouldn't be all that interested in the H.H.O. unit.

I visited their website about month ago. They have a very professional looking product. It so slickly packaged that it made me wary. For now, it's 'buyer be careful' for me.

Ok talked to them last week and they will not sell the pcm teacher seperate. They say that it only works if all their stuff is used together and will not sell anything but a full system.

I tried guys

They are not telling the truth about it only working with all of their system.  They will only sell it as a kit, but their system is a basic dry cell.  The optimizer they have seems to work.  I bought one of the kits and am in the process of having it installed right now.  I will tell you that even with the optimizer, there is alot of tweaking and adjusting that needs to be done.  The installer I am using also "invented" another box to supplement and says it really works well.  I have not gotten system completed, so can't give any feedback yet.

hEY THERE rED bARRON,

I've often thought of adding a heat sensor to the heads of the motor for purposes of adjusting the lean on my fuel mix.  The only way to know if things are heating up in the head (damaging valves, rings and seals) is to measure  the tempurature.

H.H.O. gases are supposed to help in cooling the head(s), and the added feul via H.H.O. should allow for a leaner gas mix  (diesel, where it applies).  Leaning out a gas mix without the H.H.O. would be dangerous and an expensive fix if taken to it's worst case.  The balance achieved with adapting an H.H.O. kit is only guess work if head temperatures are not monitored.  It's my belief that such an addition is critical to any after market H.H.O. kit, no matter the year, OBD-1 or  2 system.  How can anyone expect to land on the optimum mixture using H.H.O. tech without measuring for heat at the heads ?

To Bingo2K,

Sorry, i wrote a big long thing only to have it all erased.  Bottom line is there is product tech out there that you can use to replace the PCM/ECU Mod.  One such device is called "Mega Squirt", it's an after market module that allows you to control all sensor data, everything.  It replaces the factory CPM/ECU and takes it's place.  It can take flash loads of softwares, and allows you to modify the control sequences to your liking.  Complete control of how you want your vehicle to respond under all conditions, loads, no-load, hills, highways...everything.  Most people here don't want to spend the $380..00 and think it's a ripoff price.  That it should only sell for $200.00.

Personally I'd like to see anyone in this forum (or outside it) go to school and learn what it takes to design and build such a device that does what it can, and charge less for it.  Especially after all the costs associated with it's development.  I won't go into what Ozzie is working on because it would take too long and I don't want to type that much.

Call me lazy if it makes you feel better, but I say spring for the extra $200 and let the savings pour in at the pump NOW.  Get the results you  seek now rather then wait for something that might not appear for at least another year of more....and miss the savings and performance that could have paid off your investment.
