I agree...they need to invest in the books, read them and then they will committed to this technology.

Like arthagar, I purchased the books online prior to ever signing on to this forum, read the original post & answered the test questions correctly.  I seem to remember even receiving a response that I was now an online book member,  yet my member status still says "Forum Member" .  Although I realize that you, Admin, are extremely busy (I signed up for email notifications to all topics & WOW, have they skyrocketed! ), I have not had a reply to emails or pm's as to a fix.  As far as posting, I can look, respond, do everything on this forum.  But, if my questions & posts will now be restricted to this incorrect status, I, as well as other members in this same predicament, will be quite upset.  What can we do?  Please respond.

Boddie,

Your group is showing "Online-Book memeber" in the window to the left where your name shows up.

Thx, Hemi, that's because I finally figured out how to fix it.  Admin's probably looking at my status saying she FINALLY got it!  Without giving anything away, here's how I did it:

Even if you have already done this, go to the validation page at http://www.water4gasforum.com/vaildate.aspx & VERY CAREFULLY read the question (I almost locked myself out by not paying enough attention to the question ).  You only get 3 tries b4 you have to get a manual verification, which is explained to take as long as 2 weeks.  If you have answered correctly, a red verification sentence will appear after the username.  Conversely, incorrect entries will show up here too.  After u signin, the member page is (or was for me) immediately updated to show the new status of "Online Book Member".

Ok, so I'm a little slow sometimes... I'll try and work on this... but I'm not making any promises!

Boddie,

Don't feel lonely, there are several "slow ones" around here. Myself, I messed up twice, then I read the question very carefully before the 3rd time.

I kept saying, "what the heck's the matter with this S.O.B., I gave it the right answer. Yeah right!! Right answer, Just the wrong end of the title.

Just what does a regular member get access to without being an "online book member"? Which sections of the forums do they see?

All they currently see. They don't see actual installations, where to buy, and how to build areas

Good Idea

But Why not Take to the next level and only let Online Book Members use the forum and make those people who buy cheap things from  ebay and others places  be accountable for what they sell - This maybe a hard line to take but why should online book members be tech support for ebay sellers.
