havent gotten any results yet just finished my first cell, im actually gonna stick 2 cells on this with a bubbler so we shall see how it works out, im currently using plexi and wire method in a 4"pvc tube with caps and all the goodies, im going to test it this saturday for amp draw and just test with BS on how much is needed and what not for 1 cell then if i like the end result i will make another just like it, if not ill go to another style, plates or all thread somthing of the sorts. currently im running AGX7 in it and i havent noticed any difference but i havent been able to keep an accurate log due to the fact that the speedo cable wasnt hooked up why i dont know but now it is

specs on truck

1979 Chevy 3500with dump bed

454 yeah baby!!!!

16" tires duals on the back

test 1 - 4.9 AGX7 in the tank, this truck see a lot of stop and go action, a 5th gear or a two speed rearend would help a lot cause she runs at fairly high RPM's around 60+MPH

why in search of ways to make fire do we turn to water for the answer?

CURRENT PORJECT LIST:

1979 Chevy/GM 3500, 454 under the hood, standard 87 octane, 16" tires

1999 pontiac bonneville sle 3800

Sounds like an interesting project.  I can't wait to see the results.  The 454 is big girl, and she likes gas.

Keep your expectations within reason, and remember 20% of 8MPG is only 1.6

well she is a beast i got a rough estimate on MPG and i must say holy crap WM you are 100% correct she loves gas!!!!

4.9MPG

thats with AGX7 in there as well, i didnt get to hook up my H.H.O. system yet due to some unforseen things happening like, 3.5 hours dropping a tranny/transfercase out of a 96 Dodge ex cab, must say PORTA POWER is fantastic!!!!
