We don't seem to have adhesive here in New Zealand suitable for making Electolyzers. Epoxy is too hard & crystallises, Silicones are too soft. And I did try Loctite 567 which doesn't work either.

hi fella's, been following ur posts... and i don't know if this will help or not but i'm gonna throw it out there in case it might...i've totally eliminated needing/using any glues/goop by ordering walking eagles blue lids with gaskets.. they arrived yesterday and thier the bomb,no more gluing/goop and NO MORE LEAKS...you will need a couple of regular stainless steel washers and self sealing washers...i got some under a dollar...he doesn't use the bubbler or air take valve and still gets good production so i'm following his lead on this, keeping it simple(K.I.S.S.)...the only problem i had was that the pre-wired towers i'd got were for attaching flat up against the bottom side of the lid  (white plastic lids), the lead wires were to short...walking eagle's blue lids have a stopper right in the middle...i simply cut/shortened it and i was good to go, however much of my wire about 2" is not in the water...in the future i plan to have my towers made to sit on the bottom of the jar/s by adding 2-3" extra on the lead wires, so 1. i won't have to mess with cutting/shortening the stopper(it gets pulled out whenever water needs to get added) and 2. more of the wiring will be in the water where it belongs...just something to think about in trying to resolve your problem with leaks and glue/goop thing....hope it helps...laterhm2u

Thought about it, and ordered 2 lids from ,Walking Eagle'.
So I will have to find out about 'Self sealing washers'
But I'm sure i will get some here or overseas.
So thanks for that & 'Merry Xmas'

had enough.
next time I'll get a car we know it works on
I find it too stress full, & time & money
taken the system off.
I get 580 k's to the tank without it,
so that's not bad.

Changed tack on the sealing the lids drama , turned all the cells upside down , now I,m only sealing non pressurised water , the inside wires to the terminals are cooler , I can now have a remote level tank and topup is sooo much easier..

Thanx richard
